QIU Atelier Light Chasing Series Kung Fu Tea Set
A porcelain Kung Fu tea set composed of one Gài Wǎn and two cups.
Made through oxidation firing, the porcelain develops a soft, glowing surface with a jade-like finish and a smooth, refined touch. The flowing forms of the Gài Wǎn and cups are designed to sit comfortably in the hand, bringing a quiet ease to daily tea rituals.
The glaze contains natural iron elements. After being fired at over 1200°C, these minerals condense into black iron speckles across the surface, forming unique patterns that belong to each individual piece. In this way, the material’s natural composition becomes part of the object’s everyday character.
The 110ml Gài Wǎn is suitable for Kung Fu tea preparation, and can also be used as a small coffee cup.
